Watching the sunset by the poolside at The Grand Luang Prabang Hotel, in Luang Prabang, Laos was on my bucket list of many things to do while travelling in Laos. It was a truly magical experience when I was able to fulfilled my travel dream. As the sun sets over the grand Mekong River and the picturesque mountains surrounding Luang Prabang, I was able to bask in the tranquility and beauty of the moment.
After enjoying the breathtaking sunset, I made my way back to The Mekong Suite Room, which is spacious, luxurious, and tastefully decorated with a touch of Laotian charm. The suite provides me with a comfortable and private space to unwind and indulge in a memorable dining experience with a fully furnished kitchen and dinning area.
I’ve planned for a delightful dinner with Lao Green Papaya Salad (Tam Mak Houng) and Grilled Duck (Ping Ped).
It was a memorable night for me to be dinning alone, enjoying the food and the peacefulness of The Grand Luang Prabang Hotel. I felt so bless to be able to visit the country of my birth place once more and to have the time to relax and reflect on life.
