It’s a comforting and refreshing dish that’s perfect for enjoying in the serene and picturesque setting of the resort.
The Chef prepared a big bowl of this delightful soup filled with tender chicken pieces, tomatoes, onions, lemongrass, and other aromatic herbs and spices. The sourness from the tamarind complements the richness of the chicken and create a harmonious balance of flavors.
Pairing Tom Som Kai with steamed rice or sticky rice would be a traditional and satisfying way to enjoy the meal. But I requested to have steamed Jasmine rice to have with vegetable soup and spicy sweet and sour dipping sauce. The whole chicken was cut int pieces on a plate for me, making it a delightful culinary experience personalized to my taste.
