Within three hours of my arrival in Vientiane, I took a flight to Luang Prabang. I didn’t want to waste my time while in Laos and for 84 dollars for one way flight to Luang Prabang it was worth the time and money. I flew to Luang Prabang before in February of this year so I knew what to expect.
My suitcase was stuck in Moscow and was being transfer to Bangkok so I had enough clothes for a couple of days. I had pretty much everything I needed and could always buy extra clothes if needed and since there were five other people not having their suitcases with them, there was no point to whine and cry about it but to focus on the fun things in Luang Prabang.
I was expecting a cooler temperature but it was quite warm and I had to drop by a relative’s house to take a shower before flying to Luang Prabang. There was no need for my long sleeves and I only took one light jacket with me to Luang Prabang, just in case it gets colder than in Vientiane.
It was a pleasant flight with Lao Airlines as always. The flight was full and I had a window seat on the left side. The sun glaring in the background on my side so I was not able to get nice photos to share and could only enjoy the view behind my sunglasses.
