After our visit to Lipi Waterfalls, we decided to go to Veunkham for dolphins watching. We found out that we have to rent two separate boats for all of us and it was quite expensive for the local standard. There is not guaranteed that we will see the dolphins. I told my parents it would be best if we would just go to khone phapheng and not waste our time and money waiting for the dolphins to show up.
My parents agreed with me and we continued our journey to khone phapheng. I was so happy to be there again. Since we got there late in the afternoon we were able to watch the sunset at its early stage. We ordered some food and ate an early dinner before heading home.
As we were leaving Khone Phapheng Falls, my desire see the Thon Manikhod (the sacred tree) at closer distance was getting stronger. I asked my parents if we could go see the legendary tree as we were leaving the parking lot. I checked with the relatives to see if they would not mind waiting for me a little longer.
As I was walking toward the trees I saw what I thought were beautiful white flowers. By the time I got close to the river I realized what I saw were not flowers but some sort of white birds taking a refuge for the night. It was such a stunning view to see and I felt goosebumps and chills all over my body.
