Since I made a post about Lao Spicy Cucumber Salad and Edible Chrysanthemum or Tum Maak Tdeng and Pak Thang-O in Lao language, it made me have a craving for it. I can’t recall the taste of Tum Maak Tdeng with Pak Thang-O and had to give it a try. So, for last night’s dinner I made Tum Maak Tdeng with BBQ Chicken and served Pak Thang-O on a side.
Even though I am suffering from a cold/flu with my left ear totally closed, I can taste the food enough to appreciate the combination of Tum Maak Tdeng and Pak Thang-O. It would be a really good meal with fried catfish served with warm sticky rice. I will have to wait till I am in Laos to eat all the fried catfish I want!
