It was a delicious meal with homemade Pickled Mustard Green ( Som Phak Kard ; ສົ້ມຜັກກາດ ) added to the table. A Lao meal would not be complete without plenty of freshly cooked sticky rice to dip in the Spicy Roasted Tomato Chutney ( Jeow Maak Len; ແຈ່ວໝາກເລັ່ນ ).
