Phan Pa Nin (Tilapia Wrap) for dinner in Vientiane, Laos. The Tilapia fish is stuffed with herbs and covered with salt on the outside and then grilled to just about right.
The fish in then peeled and wrapped in a piece of cabbage, stuffed with rice noodle, herbs and vegetable. The Tilapia wrap is then dip in a spicy dipping sauce before consumption.
Phan Pa Nin (ພັນປານິນ, ໝ້ຽງປານິນ) is a favorite meal for me to eat on a warm night in Vientiane.
