Tilapia Fish Wrap (Phan Pa Nin; ພັນປານິນ; Miang Pa Nin; ໝ້ຽງປານິນ) for dinner in Vientiane, Laos. This is one of my favorite dishes to eat while in Laos. As soon I get off the airplane at Wattay Airport in Vientiane, I would have Tam Maak Hoong, Kaeng Nor Mai, and Phan Pa for the first day in Laos.
My cousin has the task of grilling the tilapia fishes. She might have overcooked them a bit. It was still a nice dinner with plenty of fresh vegetables, herbs, rice noodles, and two types of dipping sauce to suit each family member’s taste buds.
