Tam Maak Hoong (Lao Green Papaya Salad) and Som Moo (soured pork) for dinner in Luang Prabang, Laos. I bought the papaya salad from a street food vendor near the Night Market along and the soured pork from a lady is known for making delicious Som Moo in the area.
Luang Prabang soured pork has a lot of pork skin and bigger in size for the same price one can buy in Vientiane. It was made naturally with no preservative or coloring. I don’t eat pork on a regular basis but when I go to Laos, I do eat Som Moo a few times with my favorite salad, Tam Maak Hoong.
