Taking an evening walk to catch the sunset along the Mekong River in Vientiane, Laos. The recent paved road has made it easier for people to travel along the river. It’s very lively in the evening at Vientiane Night Market and Chao Anouvong Park. People are out and eating, shopping, or taking part in the aerobic class. Parents take their kids to hangout at the playground or getting a sweet treat from one of the many food vendors at the night market.
It was a bit hazy today but there were plenty of people sitting along the steps of the river bank to just relax and watch the sunset. If you are ever in Vientiane, Laos, be sure to drop by this area to check out the atmosphere or enjoy a glass of cold BeerLao while watching the sunset.
