Steamed fish and vegetables

During my vacation in Vang Vieng, I didn’t eat out every night for dinner. Now and then I would have lunch or dinner with new friends that I made along my walk or bicycle route. For this particular night, it was homemade steamed fish (Neung Pa) and vegetables with tomato chutney (Jeow Maak Len) for dinner. It’s not a big feast but that is how most people eat in Laos, just a simple meal with a dish or two for a typical dinner.

Kanom Kok

As a guest I brought freshly made Kanom Kok and Miang Muang Luang to add to the meal.
