Rice Vermicelli with Chilli Pepper Sauce (Khao Poon Nam Phik; ເຂົ້າປຸ້ນນ້ຳພິກ) for lunch in Vientiane, Laos. My two aunts made the Nam Khao Poon with fish and plenty of pork blood cubes. They even had banana blossom for the herbs and vegetables part of the soup.
I wish I could have been there to enjoy a bowl of Khao Poon and made a video clip of the cooking instructions to share on Youtube. It will have to be later this year then.
