Making Raw Red Ant Egg Salad (Koy Khai Mod Daeng) for lunch in Vientiane, Laos.
This is the third time for me to be eating Koy Khai Mod Daeng. The first time was in 2007, the second time and third time this year. It’s an interesting dish but I can live without it. There’s just something about taking all the eggs from the poor ants that is not my kind of thing.
