Spicy Puree of cooked catfish ( Pon Pa Douk ປົ່ນປາດຸກ ) for dinner in Vientiane, Laos. It was served with a variety of raw and steamed vegetables, and with freshly steamed sticky rice (Khao Niao; ເຂົ້າໜຽວ).
My father loves to eat Pon Pa using fish according to the seasons. I only get to eat this when I go to Laos to visit my relatives.
