Breakfast in Vientiane, Laos with Ping Kai (Lao Grilled Chicken using charcoal grill) and Jeow Mak Len (Tomato Chuntey). My cousin Khek is usually the first one to get up in the morning to cook sticky rice for the the Morning Alms Offering as well as for breakfast. She then makes Jeow Mak Len and Ping Kai while the rest of the family members are up and getting ready for work or school.
Ping Kai and Jeow Mak Len is hearty breakfast with warm sticky rice. I like to finish my meal with a cup of Lao coffee or green tea.
