Lunch in Vientiane, Laos with Lao Green Papaya Salad (Tam Maak Hoong) and deep Fried Pork Ribs (Jeun Kadook Karng Moo), served with Phak Bong (Water Spinach or Morning Glory) and cabbage. Aunt Kian made the Tam Maak Hoong while Aunt Phone made the deep fried pork ribs.

Aunt Phone also deep fried Moo Sarm Sun (three layers pork) to go with Tam Maak Hoong. There was plenty of freshly cooked sticky rice to go with the salad and fried pork ribs for everyone in the family to enjoy.
