I went to Wah Nam Hong Chinese Grocery Store yesterday. I saw two big green papayas on the shelf. I was not having a craving for Lao Green Papaya Salad and was only there to buy some chili peppers, shrimp paste, and few herbs for making Mok Nor Mai. At the last minute I decided to buy one green papaya for later in the week. I had plan on making Rice Stick Noodles Chicken Soup for dinner but after having a glass of iced-coffee at carrot cake at Trenta Secondi, I was pretty much full.
Three hours later I was not hungry at all. By 19:30 hour I knew I had to make something to eat so I won’t have stomach pain later. I decided to make a quick dinner and treated myself to Lao Green Papaya Salad with vermicelli rice noodle and water spinach. I made too much but was more than happy to clean my plate. 🙂
