My two aunts in Laos were making Kanom Kok, Pakse style for lunch. Unlike the sweet Kanom Kok that can be found in Vientiane or Luang Prabang, this type of Kanom Kok has minced pork filling and has sweet and sour chili sauce to go with.

People would eat it with vegetables and herbs that would be typically found in Fresh Spring Rolls.
