We had a big lunch today in Vientiane, Laos with Ping Peek Kai (Grilled Chicken Wing), Ping Hua Ped (Grilled Duck Head), Fried Sweet Sausage, Som Moo (Soured Pork Sausage) and Tam Maak Hoong (Lao Green Papaya Salad).

I was only interested in Som Moo to go with Tam Maak Hoong. Since my relatives added garlic and MSG to their Lao Green Papaya Salad, I made my own version leaving out the two mentioned ingredients. The green papaya salad was delicious with freshly cooked sticky rice, grilled soured pork sausage, and vegetables on the side.
