I like to hang out at the Morning Market in Luang Prabang. It´s not the biggest morning market I have seen in Laos but it´s full of life. The best part about visiting the market is the chance to interact with people. I´ve met quite a few merchants from my previous trip to Luang Prabang that I made a point of going back to talk to them.

I was happy to see them again but yet sad at the same time knowing that so many things have changed in their lives since the last time I was there in February of this year. One particular grandmother held a special place in my heart and one old man who was full of kind words toward me for simple action such as sharing my meal with him.
