Breakfast in Pakse, Laos with leftovers food from last night’s dinner. Aunt Tou made Khao Poon Nam Kati for dinner last night and had half of the pot of soup stock left. The relatives also re-heated Ping Kai (grilled chicken) and some sort of soup to go with the sticky rice.
Uncle Khao’s older sister made Mok Pa (steamed fish) and Mok Nor Mai (steamed bamboo shoot soup) for Tou Yar and the other family members that are fond of eating such traditional dishes. It was a good breakfast and I don’t mind having leftovers at all.
