Laap Kai

I made Laap Kai for dinner tonight using chicken breast. I bought a few pieces of chicken liver and chicken heart to add to the laap. The version that is served in most Lao homes in Laos would have chicken skin, gizzard, and even intestine to give more depth in taste.

Chicken Minced Salad

My version of Laap Kai was delicious enough with chicken and vegetable soup, jeow or spicy dipping sauce and warm sticky rice.
