Lao Fried Noodle (Khua Mee) for lunch in Vientiane, Laos. This is one of my aunt’s favorite dish and she makes it a few times per month for either lunch or dinner.
For today, my aunt used pork in the fried noodle. This dish can be plain or with tofu, chicken, beef, or pork. For a complete meal, my aunt made the sweet and sour dipping sauce (Nam Jeem) to go with the Khua Mee. When served with plenty of vegetables and herbs to wrap the fried noodle in, it’s a delicious meal for all the family members to enjoy.
