A bowl of Khao Leng Feun for lunch in Luang Prabang. This was the first time ever in my life to have tasted the famous Khao Leng Feun dish. The relatives that made Khao Leng Feun are Tai Lue and like to eat the dish during the warm weather days next to eating green papaya salad. They make Khao Leng Feun and Khao Soy at least once a week and would share the dishes with the other relatives living in the same neighborhood.
While eating Khao Leng Feun, I also received a culinary lesson on how Khao Pard Phoon can be use to make other dishes like Nam Varn for example.
