Ping Kai (Grilled Chicken) and Khai Louk Ped (Baby Duck Egg) for breakfast in Pakse, Laos. This is my 5th day in Laos and first day in Pakse. I didn’t get much sleep last night and not feeling well after a long day of travel by bus from Vientiane to Pakse yesterday.
The relatives heated up Ping Kai and Khai Louk Ped that I bought during the bus ride to Pakse. They also re-heated Tom Kai (Chicken Soup) and made a simple Jeow (chili dipping sauce) to go with the meal. I was not hungry and only took a few bites, then ate a banana and drank green tea.
