Walking around Luang Prabang is an adventure in itself. What I like to do is to check out various food stalls or restaurants around town.

Lunch time is fun and exciting for me. This is when I can smell and see various Lao dishes and observing the local people lining up to order a take-away food.

In Laos, when you are busy and eating for one or two person, it’s more economical to just buy a dish or two for lunch or dinner.

Electricity is expensive and cooking using coal stove takes a great deal of time and effort so at breakfast or lunch time, it’s easier to just buy a bowl of noodle soup or a piece of meat with sticky rice to last until the next meal.
