My two aunts and two cousins went to Boun That Luang on the last day of the festival for the Thak Baht ceremony. After making offerings to the Buddhist Monks, they went to sit down and ate Khao Poon and Tom Kai for breakfast.
After their meal, it was time for a little shopping, buying gifts and food to take home for the rest of the family members.
The must have Lao Food dish to take home for everyone was no other than Khao Poon. Then it was Miang Nung Moo as snack for the younger children.
