While walking near the canal last Friday, I saw several rabbits running along the path. As I got closer they went into the hiding behind the colorful bushes (third photo). I didn’t want to disturb them and went on my way along many holes that must have been created by my new shy friends. It was a nice surprise to see a such small area is home to so many of the rabbits. I counted 11 of them as they ran for cover.

I can only wonder how many of their brothers and sisters are living there. They reminded me of the rabbits in our yard back in the US. I kept feeding them (mother rabbit and babies). My parents still blame me for having too many of them running around eating the vegetable garden in the summer.
