Sao Darly
A few clips from my summer walk during the month of August. Summer came and went by quick and now I can only look forward to spring. This year is going by too quickly.
The next stop, which was a few meters from the Yellow Water Lily was the white water lily. I found some really beautiful ones and spent a few minutes admiring their beauty before heading home.
A visit to the canal would not be complete without a close up look at the water lily. I went straight for my favorite kind of water lily and that is yellow water lily.
The next stop from the Yellow Flag Iris was the water lily. I couldn’t find the family of ducks and coots and can’t even find their nest. The heavy storm must have push the nest down the stream. I did find a happy duck bathing in the sun and a coot having his or her lunch.
Water Lily and Canal
Duck and white water lily
Further down from a group of white water lily was a group of yellow water lily or Nuphar Lutea. I had to stop and admire the yellow beauty before venturing down the canal.
I spend a few minutes with the ducks and the coots and then went to check out the beautiful water lilies down the path.
I walked in the opposite direction of the bridge away from the Yellow flag iris and saw some ducks which is nothing new. But further down the canal I saw some coots for the first time in my life. I enjoyed watching them having lunch and took note to visit them in the near future.
