Sao Darly

I had my usual salmon sandwich and green lemon tea for lunch last Tuesday (April 07, 2009) and then went for a walk at a park afterward. It is a great way to digest the food and also to get used to my recently bought Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28. I had the camera since February and still trying to get comfortable with it. It was such a nice day to stroll around and take lots of pictures of beautiful cherry blossom in full bloom. I was too busy last year and missed the blooming cheery trees around this time of the year.

After a short visit with the animals at the dierentuin I stumbled upon bundles of beauties on the other side of the park. It was a beautiful sight to see and I didn’t even know how I want my photos to look like so I took plenty of them and sorted out the ones I wanted to post later. No need for me to spoil the moment with too much words. See for yourself.

There are signs of spring everywhere for the last couple of weeks. This is what I found during lunch break last Wednesday on March 11. Many trees are full of colorful blossoms. I was looking for something and I found this little guy working diligently and he had no time for break.

I noticed many beautiful things on the ground a couple of weeks ago and was more than happy to welcome the signs of spring. While my parents were battling snow on the first of March, the weather here was quite nice and a perfect day for a stroll around town. I was waiting for a snow day since it has happened before in the first week of March in 2006. So far there is no sign of more snow which is quite pleasant since we didn’t have a harsh winter at all.

The weather was very nice in May for a couple of weeks. It was too warm to be inside and most people were heading to the beaches. While the majority of my classmates took a break from typing their Thesis I did not treat myself to such pleasure. The only break I gave myself was buying a new laptop so I could sit outside now and then and study in an enviroment that was much better than staring at the four walls.
