I’m almost completed with the posting of Lao stamps I bought back in 2004. It was my first set that I spent about 65 Euros for all the mint stamps. Here is Wedding Costume Lao Stamp issued in the year 2000.

The title speaks for itself. This is Bye Bye Polio Lao Stamp issued in the year 2000.

Postes Lao issued a beautiful set of Dok Champa or Plumeria Flower, which is a national flower of Laos stamp in 2001. For those that are fond of Lao stamps in particular, especially flower theme, this is a must have stamp to add to your collection. I bought my first SS back in 2004 and Aunt Kian sent me another SS to me a few weeks ago. I will surely buy another one when I go to Laos in the near future.

Bangkok 2000 World Youth Stamp Exhibition & 13th ASEAN International Stamp Exhibition Lao Stamp.

A sheet of butterflies Lao Stamp, printed in 2003. I bought this sheet back in 2004 and can’t even recall how much I paid for it. It’s quite beautiful and reminds me of my Grand-Mama who loves butterfly. She passed away last year so when I look at this sheet of stamps, I think of her.

The 11 ASEAN Postal Business Meeting Lao Stamp issued in 2004.

Children Painting Lao Stamp, depicting various nature scenes, issued in the year 2000.

Marigold Lao Stamp issued in the year 2004. I am fond of marigold and these stamps reminded me of the time growing up as a kid in Laos and picking marigold flower for various religious ceremonies.
