I spent my Valentine’s Day in Vientiane, not alone but with the concert goers at Lao ITECC. A dear friend invited me to Lao Telecom concert with VIP seating and I just couldn’t say no, especially when Lydia was the main pop star. It was a wonderful experience and I am grateful for the opportunity to be in Laos once again.

After dinner at Ban Lao Restaurant parking lot, it was more walking around watching people playing various games so they can win some prizes from M-Phone. The stage didn’t come to life until 7:00 PM and it was all about advertising the 3G service before the performance.

Happy Friday. A very nice song to listen to from Lao Art Media by Anousone. I am going to check if the Lao lakorn is available in DVD version. It looks like a very good story to watch.

When Alexandra Bounxouei came to the USA for her first concert tour, many older people made request for her to lum. This piece of music is from her 2007 concert in Houston. She first performed the music at the Lao Ecotourism Festival in July of 2007.
