Larb Leud Ped (Duck Blood Salad), Larb Ped (Koy Ped), Tom Ped Sai Khai Mod Daeng Som (Duck Soup with Red Ant Eggs) for lunch at Ban Lard Khuay in Vientiane Province, Laos.
It was a nice lunch with freshly steamed sticky rice, plenty of vegetables, and BeerLao to wash down the food. This is the third time in my life tasting the Duck Blood Salad. I only took one spoon of the Larb Leud Ped and spent of the lunch time eating cooked Larb Duck. Maybe next time I’ll be brave enough to eat an entire plate of the Larb Leud Ped.
