Home away from Home
On May 21, 2009 I made a visit to Keukenhof (Kitchen Garden) to see what’s left of the tulips. It was the last day and there were so many people there to enjoy the nice weather and the various flowers on display at the garden. I have to admit the garden was not as spectacular as the last visit in April of 2007. The best time to visit Keukenhof is around mid April to late April to see the tulips in full bloom.

Tulips at Keukenhof
These are the first set of photos near the entrance area. The first time I visit Keukenhof in 2000 for my two weeks vacation in early May, my friends and I entered this same gate.

Darly, I love all the pics and vids! It’s gorgeous! It’s so green compared to Arizona! You have inspired me to post some pics of this dry and desert environment I live in!

Hi Laotian Teacher,
Glad you like the photos and vids. The desert has its own beauty and I sure would love to see what kinds of rare plants and flowers you’ll run into. I am fond of cactus and can only see them at the botanical garden or on an island of Spain.
