Sao Darly

For the last two months in Laos I have been following the news on Miss Apone Lao Beauty Pageant. A10 and A17 look like my cousins in Pakse. They all look beautiful to me. The winner must meet the ideal image of Miss Apone Lao with the full package of beauty plus brain.

As tradition goes some of these candidates will be featured on Beer Lao calendar 2009. The final judging night is on December 20, 2008 at Lao National Culture Hall. Last year the event was at Don Chan Palace and you can reserve a table for about 100 Euros with 10 or 12 seatings. I wanted to attend this event but didn’t know it would be so late in December. Perhaps the next time I can be there to take lots of pics to share with you all.
