The weather was just getting weirder and weirder by Saturday, 22nd of March. It was raining, then sunny again, then more rain with frequent hailstorms. Sometimes the hails would be falling for a couple of minutes and then the sun would come out. Since I told my relatives in Laos about the crazy weather I also told them that I will try to take some pictures when I get a chance. Here are a few photos from another weird Dutch weather day. It was warm enough so these hails were starting to melt fast.

These were nothing in comparison what what was to come. More photos later.
It was a cold and windy day on Easter Friday. The weather was changing every five minutes also. The weird weather pattern started earlier that week beginning on Monday. I was coming home from school and got hit with hail storms around 16:00 hour and later while walking to the grocery store. Using an umbrella was useless at times since the wind would just folded it over.

On March 19th, I received a green light for the second phase of my Thesis. It was a cause for a celebration. After having a pancake for dinner the night before I wanted to have seafood for dinner this time. I haven’t been to Hotel New York Restaurant since August of 2006 so I decided to go there for an early dinner. I ordered half a dozen Dutch oysters for starter and then a seafood platter for the main course. The waiter gave me an olive sauce with fried shallots so I gave it a try for the first time with a couple of oysters. It was not a waste of an experiment.

On March 18th, after spending the day at the university and turning in my final version of Thesis proposal I asked Johan to take me to my favorite Dutch pancake house. I wanted something to sooth my soul while waiting for the green light the next morning for the second phase of the Thesis writing process.
When I got to the pancake house I was surprised to be an addition to the house. They have converted a barn that was used as a playground for the children into a new wing of the restaurant. The walkway was turned into a lounge with a sunroof. I saw a note on the door way for hosting High Tea. This pancake house is well known for its old charms and authentic look and feel of the place. I didn’t mind the modern room but I don’t know if other customers would feel the same. Since it was a few days before Easter, the place was decorated in Easter theme.

My favorite photos from the making of Nang Tad. These photos made me think of Nye aka Ginger and her buffalo from the time she was a little girl and living in Thailand.

The opening ceremony of Nang Tad and Poot Mae Nam Khong with Weir Sukollawat and Jui. It’s a pity that Alexandra Bounxouei didn’t take the role of this lakorn. It would have been a big hit for both Weir and Sandra. Somehow I don’t think Ray Rai Louk Sao Pa is a good role for her. She would have been able to dress better for sure in Poot Mae Nam Khong. Oh well, we will have to wait and see if Pleng Ruk Rim Fang Khong 2 will come out in 2010. That is a long time to wait for many fans.

While waiting for Ray Rai Louk Sao Pa to start, I’ve been watching Nang Tad for the last three weeks. The story line is very good and I have to admit that I am hooked on this drama and can’t wait to see the ending of it. The drama airs on Monday and Tuesday night.

According to the entertainment news section from Thai channel TV 7, Alexandra Bounxouei’s second Thai lakorn will air on next Friday, April 04. All her fans can make a note and mark down their calendar so they won’t miss the first episode of Ray Rai Louk Sao Pa at 20:30 hour, Thailand time. Below is the complete story in Thai language.
