Chai nor Chai… I’m not lao but an old hmong living in the mountains of Laos with neither electricity nor water and less internet. Saturday night, we would beat our wife, they cry : aie aie we sing : olé ! It’s our saturday fever, better our Quart d’heure espagnole ! Funny isn’t it! Have a try, if you have a women, of course. Time isn’t changing.

Palaseuth, are you Lao and how old are you? Its common to discipline your kids in the Lao culture by hitting,yes, but its not common to beat your wife, no. People just don’t hit their kids when its not necessary, not every parents do that, and I think this kind of practice is dissapearing. And I don’t agree with men laying their hands on women. Men shouldn’t do that, period! These men have major issues.
